I am Sandhya Rathore, the founder of Santej Food Products Private Limited. My journey did not begin in a large factory or corporate office. It started in my own kitchen, where I spent years preparing food, experimenting with recipes, understanding ingredients, and serving dishes made with care.
The Beginning of Santej
Cooking has always been an important part of my life. Through Sandhya’s Recipes, I shared recipes and cooking knowledge with people who wanted to prepare delicious food at home.
Later, through Santej Kitchen, I began serving freshly prepared dishes to customers in Udaipur. Their appreciation, repeat orders, and positive feedback gave me confidence in the taste and quality of my recipes.
While managing the kitchen, I noticed a common challenge: preparing restaurant-style Indian gravies takes a lot of time. It requires several ingredients, careful measurement, proper cooking, and consistent preparation.
Busy families often do not have enough time to make elaborate gravies from scratch. Restaurants, caterers, cafés, cloud kitchens, and home chefs also need products that help them save preparation time while maintaining consistent taste.
This challenge inspired the idea of Santej Gravy Premixes.
Turning Traditional Recipes into Convenient Premixes
The goal was not simply to create an instant food product. I wanted to develop premixes that could make cooking faster and easier while preserving the richness of Indian flavours.
I began experimenting with ingredients, proportions, preparation methods, texture, aroma, and taste. Each recipe went through repeated testing and improvement.
